Why Education?

Education gives us the building blocks for our future employment and dreams. You may not have recognised it at the time, but your schooling gave you opportunity. Education is not just a human right, but it is a transformative opportunity to break the cycle of poverty. Here’s the thing - education is generational. It helps whole families and communities build a brighter future.

More than 250 million children worldwide are still out of school and do not have proper access to education. This is nearly one-fifth of the global population in this age group, and more than half of all children and adolescents worldwide are not meeting minimum proficiency standards in reading and mathematics. We are not ok with this!

Our plan - improve access to school and education for children; and help provide better quality classrooms and resources for schools, so that they can be a shining light in their community.
